INAX Bidet Environmental Policy

Today, a corporation is evaluated by how it deals with environmental problems and how it attempts to promote a re-circulation-based society.

Every corporation in today's world uses the earth's limited resources. In the unavoidable re-circulation based society, the conditions surrounding a corporation are changing dramatically and, in contrast to the pollution problems that occurred in the 1970s, mankind is faced with unanswerable environmental problems. This environment is now both a victim of mankind, and an offender against mankind, and each corporation is now judged by the values it shows in addressing the problem and how it plans to create a re-circulation based society.

INAX started to deal with environmental problems from the viewpoint of the earth's finite resources rather than anti-pollution methods back in 1992 when it announced its First Environmental Protection Policy. In 1997, INAX launched its Second policy with the slogan "the creation and provision of a beautiful environment considering mankind and nature," and achieved all its stated aims by 2000. In January 2001, as a new earth-conscious enterprise, it launched its Third Environmental Protection Policy aimed at reforming the company into a re-circulation based enterprise.

As a corporation that manufactures objects and also provides living spaces, INAX begins with what can be accomplished now-while considering the earth's total environment.
