The Active Gard™

  

The Active Gard is a soft cloth sash with a notched pocket, which enfolds a drained, folded pouch and holds it close to the abdomen.

Our unique aid for active lifestyles, the Active Gard provides the freedom you need to engage in a wide range of non-contact, vigorous activities. Be it tennis, jogging, or intimacy, the Active Gard secures the ostomate's pouch and prevents it from harmful, uncontrolled movement. The Active Gard secures and conceals the pouch, assuring the wearer to be free to pursue an active lifestyle without fear of embarrassment. The product was designed to be an aid while engaged in procreation and some other short-term activities.

To wear the Active Gard, the pouch needs to be drained, and then rolled up and placed into the pocket-opening. The Active Gard attaches with a wide velcro band to insure its stability, and is intended for short periods of use (one to two hours). The Active Gard is available in a plain ivory color, ivory lace or black lace and is used by both men and women. Sizes are in inches as needed for each individual waist size. The Active Gard will completely cover the pouch and was originally called a Sex Gard. The Active Gard is machine washable, and comes in its own travel pouch.
